Waltrip Alums: Athletics - Basketball FROM COACH DAN KELLY Milton Washington, Class of 2010, will graduate tomorrow from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He was a varsity letterman in men’s basketball for 4 years. Denzel Livingston, Class of 2011 finished his college basketball as the 2nd all-time scorer at University Incarnate Word. Denzel was the #3 scorer in the country this past season Division 1. He was 1st team All-Southland Conference. Livingston also was invited to play in the prestigious Portsmouth Invitational (top 64 seniors in the country). He recently signed with the Montgomery Sports Group. His agent represents Jeremy Lin of the LA Lakers. Denzel is 9 hours away from graduating. This year’s (2015) varsity team… · Team GPA 3.06 · Senior John Coakley: #34 in Class of 2015; Top 10% of his graduating class; 1st team All District; Selected to play in the Greater Houston All-Star Game. Will attend the University of St. Thomas. · Senior Decory Edwards: #3 in Class of 2015; All-State Boys Basketball Academic Team. Will attend Trinity University. The cost to attend Trinity University is $52,000. Decory has already received $51,000 of scholarship monies each year for the next 4 years. Still waiting to hear on other scholarships. · Jamal Miles will attend the University of Houston-Downtown. · Sergio Valdez will Houston Community College (1st person in his family to graduate high school). · Adrian Olguin will attend San Jacinto College. · Roger Hoskins will attend University of Dallas.
